Nominations in the field of Medical & Community Healthcare with an overarching contribution towards Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health & Well Being can be made for the Change Maker Humanity Award for the below given categories.

Nomination Process

  • Self-Nomination is allowed.
  • Nominator can nominate self or others (Individual/Team/Organization) for the work and contribution done in the field of Education, Medical & Community Healthcare and Social Services.
  • The nominee must be from Rajasthan who has contributed to the field of Education, Medical & Community Healthcare and Social Services primarily in the last 2 years.
  • The recommendation can only be made by filling the nomination form which is available on the official website of the Change Maker Humanity Award.
  • Nominator must fill the reason for nomination while filling the nomination form.
  • Nominator may also provide 2 reference letters of not more than 200 words each (Optional).
  • Nominator must upload all the supporting documents before submitting the nomination form as per the list of documents.
  • Nominator must read and understand all the terms and conditions before submitting the nomination form.

Community Medicine / Rural Medical Service

This award honours outstanding healthcare professional(s) in the field of community medicine/ Rural medicine who have dedicated their time and talents to improve the health status and well-being of the Community / Rural environments

Eligibility Criteria:

Those meeting the mandatory requirements and any 2 of the additional requirements is eligible to be nominated, supported by the appropriate documents.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The nominee must have been in the field of education for a minimum of 5 years.
  • The nominee must be a qualified & certified healthcare professional.

Additional Requirements:

  • Any outstanding research work published in a reputed journal.
  • Any innovation in training of junior doctors in the field of Community Medicine.
  • Any work done in monitoring of lifestyle disorders in society.
  • Steps taken by the doctor to improve the health status of Community especially women and children.
  • Any involvement in implementation of preventive and curative health and education programs related to communicable diseases.
  • Any innovative approach used to mobilize & promote community involvement in providing good quality& effective healthcare services.

Body/Organ Donation

This award is to recognize the medical practitioners who have chosen to use their voice and work to promote the importance of body/organ donation in the society. We want to celebrate these medical practitioners of our community, who are making a difference in the field of Body/Organ Donation through their actions and attitude.

Those meeting the mandatory requirements and any 2 of the additional requirements is eligible to be nominated, supported by the appropriate documents.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The nominee must have been rendering service for a minimum of 5 years and must be recognized as an expert in the field of body/organ donation.
  • Nominee must be a qualified & certified healthcare professional.

Additional Requirements:

  • Any measures taken to spread awareness about the body/ organ donation in the society
  • Development of transplant programs in the Institute.
  • Any research work related to medical/Social aspects of organ donation.
  • Nominee must have made significant contributions over the course of his/her career in mentoring individuals in the field of organ transplantation.
  • Nominee must be contributing to reducing inequities (unethical practices) in organ transplantation .

  • Use of Tele-health, novel practices in rural care settings, emergency management in hospitals, effective care for vulnerable populations during COVID pandemic.

Mental Health Care

This award is to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions in Mental health care. It is for all the institutions/healthcare practitioner(s) who are working to promote the improvement of the mental health of the people and mental health education.

  • Any research undertaken in areas of newer treatment modalities for psychiatric disorders
  • Providing and improving services, promoting, prevention, control, treatment, and relief of all psychiatric disabilities for all age groups in society.
  • Contributed to the policy making or influenced policy changes through service, research publications, and social service in the field of psychiatry or supporting mental health cause.
  • The individual / Organization has demonstrated leadership ability to inspire and effectively educate the public about mental health, mental illnesses, substance use or co- occurring disorders and removing the stigma associated with it.
  • Contributed towards rehabilitation of persons with severe Mental illness, autism spectrum disorder and substance use/ drug addiction among the younger population.

Geriatrics (Senior Citizen Care)

The award seeks to recognize Geriatric healthcare worker for outstanding clinical practice in a geriatric health care setting. Geriatrics is a specialized branch of medicine that caters to the health care needs of senior citizens. Geriatricians ideally deal with preventive, curative, and rehabilitation aspects of the health of the elderly. Health issues faced by senior citizens are very different from those of younger people. The purpose of this award is to recognize and create new insights in the care of elderly, by improvising methods in controlling epidemics, infections, improving medical facilities, nutrition, spreading health awareness among people.

  • Any work related to social aspects of palliative care
  • Taking concrete steps to promote palliative care among masses
  • Any work done to incorporate the principles of long-term care and palliative care into the educational curricula (of medical, nursing, pharmacy, and social work courses).
